Hi there, thanks for the video on this. I just installed Freemind and followed your procedure. The application freezes when I try to launch it from the application menu icon, but functions fine when I start it from within the .dmg file. Can you help? Thanks
Hmm, Freemind might be a bit tricky since it’s a Java application. Your best bet is to search the Freemind website for more detailed instructions.
Thanks for the guide
Though I have a question. Is the virtual drive the program creates necessary after installation? If so, is there anyway to stop them appearing?
Thanks,
Tom
Nope, after you install the program you can eject the virtual drive. Select it and drag it into the trash can. Once you do that you can even remove the DMG file. You’ll only need the DMG file if you want to install the program again.
