One thing that I’ve noticed over the holiday’s is that game developers like to put their stuff on sale. I made it through Thanksgiving at my relatives this year because EA was running sales on some of their games.

Well, Christmas time is here and as expected, more games are on sale. This time however, EA and other are blowing out some of their titles at up to 90% off. If you’ve been waiting to pickup some games that are in the $4.99 price range now is the time to pick them up.

In the last 24 hours I’ve purchased the following apps, all on sale.

• The Secret of Monkey Island
• Scrabble
• Monkey Island 2
• Phantasy Star

I’m really tempted to also pickup Final Fantasy, the price has dropped from $8.99 to $3.99

Also, if you are in a downloading mood you should pickup AppShopper, a free app that tracks when applications drop in price.
